The user control panel is a way for users to control call handling and personal settings from a web browser. You can login to the User Control Panel by pointing your browser to the IP Address of your PBX and picking the User Control Panel Option. Administrators can login using the admin username and password that is used to access the FreePBX Administration section. Individual users can login using their extension number and voicemail password.

The SMS module can be used to send and receive text messages to and from U.S. and Canadian SMS numbers.

The Voicemail section allows you to see all the voicemails left for your extension and lets you listen to any voicemail on demand.

For each voicemail you can see

• Date- Date and Time of Call
• Caller ID- Name and Number of each Call
• Orig Mailbox- What mailbox was the voicemail left in.
• Duration- How long in seconds the call lasted.
• Playback- Click the Speaker Icon to listen to the voicemail on your computer. Click the Phone Icon to have the system call your phone and play you the voicemail.
• Download- Click the Download Icon to download a copy of the Voicemail

The Call History section allows you to see all inbound and outbound calls for your user and listen to any call recordings that are associated with that call.

The Fax Module allows you to view all sent and received faxes, forward a fax to another user or send outbound faxes.
